It’s About Much More Than Money: Experience The Great Joy of Serving Others through Giving Tuesday Now

Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity was founded in 1852 by young men who understood The Great Joy of Serving Others in times of hardship. At the time, on Jefferson College’s campus and in the Canonsburg community, it was typhoid fever.

Today, it is COVID-19.

This global pandemic has reached far and wide – directly impacting our members and their families – along with the rest of the world. Now, we have a chance to come together just as our Founders did to show our love and appreciation for one another and our communities.

#GivingTuesdayNow is an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity–to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and persevere.

We encourage you to experience The Great Joy of Serving Others by giving time, money or other resources to support programs and organizations that will provide for both your Phi Psi brothers and the community at large.

5onthe5

5onthe5 – five personal connections on the fifth of May – is a day to celebrate the importance of the human bond. At a time when many are sad, anxious, and self-isolated, removed from many of the ways we regularly interact with others, the focus of #5onthe5 is summed up best in the day’s tagline: I call because I care. In honor of Mental Health Month, take the time to call five brothers to reconnect.

Phi Kappa Psi Friendship Fund

The Phi Kappa Psi Friendship Fund provides assistance grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 to brothers in immediate financial need due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more and make a gift to support the Friendship Fund by donating here.

Give back to your community

Our communities need our support now more than ever. Give back by supporting a local food bank or finding a blood drive near you.
