If outdoor fun is what you’re looking for, summer is the best time of year in Indianapolis. See a concert at White River State Park or watch a baseball game at Victory Field. Sports fans of all sorts should take the opportunity to tour the Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Museum, home of the Indy 500 (IRL) and Brickyard 400 (NASCAR). From quirky independents to the tried and true chains, Indianapolis restaurants are sure to fit your taste buds and your wallet. Kick back with a beer and a burger at Bourbon Street Distillery or sample authentic German cuisine at Indianapolis’ very own Bavarian beer hall The Rathskeller.
